During my career, I have been laid off on different occasions from my office positions due to lack of work. During each lay off, I have been privileged to work for temp agencies, especially yours in particular. I have worked at many different types of temporary office positions, mostly short term and have enjoyed the variety.

Working at temporary or temp to hire positions has certainly defined to me what I like and what I don’t like about certain kinds of jobs. The best part of it is, I don’t fee obligated to stay, beyond the length of the assignment, at a job I don’t like.

In addition, temping has broadened my horizons and has educated me in some new software, reinforced my training in others, and given me invaluable experience. As an aside, it has also given me a greater knowledge of my geographical surroundings. I find that with each new permanent job I acquire, much of my experience and knowledge as a temp, plus a knowledge of the local area, is a valuable asset to my new position.

If anyone is ever undecided or unsure about what they want to do after college or high school, or what kind of office position would be best for them, In certainly recommend temping. It is a good way to get into the work force, gain experience and confidence and then move on to higher levels. It is also a good way for wives and mothers to keep a foot in the workplace and maintain up to date experience, without committing themselves to a permanent, long term position.

Once again, thank you for your services. Life is a lot easier knowing that you are there to help when I am out of work.

Thank you so much for your nice letter congratulating me on my award for customer service at the National Passport Center. I really like the job a lot and feel a great deal of satisfaction using my Spanish there as well.

But I really am grateful to work with McIntosh Staffing. In fact, some of my colleagues that work with other staffing agencies often don't even receive their weekly checks on time. Sometimes, they are even two or three weeks late! And a lot of these other agencies do not direct deposit checks. I am very happy that McIntosh does this...it makes it so much easier for me.

We have used McIntosh Staffing for many years for our entire temporary staffing needs and all of our permanent placement needs. Prior to that we tried other services and found they couldn’t compare with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the employees at McIntosh. Clearly there is a great deal of interviewing and screening that takes place before a selection is made.

In discussions with the temps from McIntosh that were new to the area I asked them why they chose McIntosh.
