EMPLOYERS ASK…WHAT QUESTIONS CAN'T I ASK IN AN INTERVIEW?
Repeatedly, we are queried by our client employers, that don't do a lot of hiring based on the size of their company - which questions CAN'T I ASK?…when interviewing candidates. We have provided you with a list of the following to avoid discriminatory exposures for your organization. - What is your religion?
- What ethnicity are you?
- What is your sexual preference?
- Are you married?
- Do you have children?
- Are you planning to start a family?
- Have you ever done drugs?
- Have you ever been arrested?
Be extra careful with other questions that relate to personal information and are not pertinent to the job. In addition you should not touch an applicant, other than a handshake.
