In this role you will be have full authority as you plan and manage the safety and loss control policies. Ensure that all project and milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets. Design and direct all EHS training programs, continually develop safety orientation and policy, emergency preparedness, job instruction, proper use of protective equipment and hazardous material disposal processes. Review prior accidents and develop recommendations for eliminating risk adverse situations. Written and verbal interaction with management and State and OSHA officials during audits as well as incident investigations.
To be successful in this position you will need the ability to be diplomatically authoritative. The ability to manage multiple projects and a proven method for organized documentation and reporting. This individual should be a self-starter and have a strong command of time management. A Bachelor’s Degree in EHS as well as some history in a supervisory role.
