Mechanical Field Technician  $24 - $26/hr

Position Focus:

• Your goal in this position is great customer relationships built on excellent technical expertise and service.
• In this role you'll be on the road in a company car a few days a week reporting to service calls for a variety of paper processing machines, visiting customers, and providing installations, training, and customer support.
• When working in the office you will be interfacing with customers by phone and email, training in their state of the art virtual end user instruction lab, reviewing service agreements, and cross training on new company product and technology.
• As a point person for all of a customers service needs you will uncover sales opportunities. You'll be working cross-functionally collaborating with the sales team on customer upgrade needs and new equipment needs.

Qualifications
The best field service techs are mechanically inclined; some come from mechanical engineering programs and others have the technical aptitude to learn on the job. You should enjoy reassembling machines. This is not an IT position although there are some parts of the job that will tap your IT logic. The best techs are also good with people and service-oriented.
Specifically, we hope you will apply if you have these qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel throughout NH, ME
• Must have previous experience being a technician in some degree.
• General mechanical experience an asset
• Strong technical skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, IT)
• Ability to troubleshoot and effectively resolve technical issues
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• Organized and detailed oriented
