What You Can Expect:

With a fleet of 30+ trucks and heavy equipment you will have full reign of shop tools, autonomous decision making and a proven staff to make a positive contribution. Perform preventative maintenance and service a wide variety of power equipment including small engine , 2 cycle equipment, utility vehicles, trailers and medium to heavy trucks as well as construction equipment. Along with General Manager, oversee the supervision of shop staff. Maintain all compliance, registration, warranty and DOT standards. Provide training and safety management and assist with all winter plow maintenance and set-up during storms. Ensure all inventory is kept in stock to provide timely repair and maintenance of vehicles. Flexibility for OT.
What It Takes to Succeed:
A professional with a minimum of 5+ years mechanical repair of medium to heavy vehicles and construction equipment. Must possess a strong mechanical skill-set including knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic systems both gasoline and diesel. Basic automotive repair experience. A team player with good communication abilities: must be adept at fostering communication between management and crew leaders. Strong organizational skills-strength in record keeping, shop cleanliness, inventory and parts ordering, desire to stay proactive and not reactive as it applies to preventative maintenance and repairs.
CDL A and ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification
Basic computer skills, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
