Inventory Control/Stockroom Supervisor

In this brand new role you will lead and supervise the inventory team and will be responsible for the workflow to achieve optimum efficiency and inventory accuracy. This fast paced, imperative function in the company will have multi department interface and participate in management advisory meetings.
The position will be responsible for the safety of the stockroom team, procedure development, administration, scheduling tasks, cycle counting, housekeeping, and quality. Provide knowledge of lean manufacturing to identify and eliminate waste in all forms (scrap/rework, transportation, motion, waiting, inventory, over production, over processing, and under-utilization of employees. Your systematic thinking will be most helpful seeing through processes that exceed quotas and eliminate problems.
