Production Manager - Sanford, ME

​Direct hire!  Working for this family owned company you will be treated like you are their own besides the very generous benefit package they offer.    Assumes leadership role and assists Lead persons in the day-to-day safety, quality, production, maintenance, materials, compliance, training for block plant production for masonry landscape pavers.
Oversee plant metrics of safety, quality, production output, labor & overhead expenditures, and customer order fulfillment. Makes sure the plant follows all regulatory and statutory requirements, and operational processes.   Takes leadership role and ensures all employees are trained and evaluated on all relevant policies, procedures, and SOPs. Leads all repairs and manages shut downs. Under the direction of the President evaluates, recommends, and implements applications of appropriate manufacturing technologies and equipment. Experience to include knowledge of mechanical handling, conveying, hydraulic, pneumatic, mixing, curing, and packing equipment.
