VAPOTHERM in Exeter, has been recently awarded a contract with the US Government. It's a manufacturer of an innovative aerosol oxygen therapy system that has proven to reverse the need for intubation in respiratory distressed patients and is being produced for global hospitals and government agencies. Due to very high demand they are adding to their team for at least 2 – 3 months with anticipated extensions . Shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:15am-7:15pm for the weekend shift and 11pm-7am on 3rd shift.
In this role you will be responsible for verifying components and assemblies meet specifications through inspection based on training provided. Perform quality control functional testing of assembled medical devices and approve final product quality of manufactured devices based on training provided. · Appropriately identify non-conforming material in incoming inspection. Work with engineers to develop inspection method for engineering components and inspect engineering components. Maintain the assigned area in the inspection lab to standard. Inspection and testing of medical components and devices. Ensure assemblies meet specifications.. Prior quality control experience is required
