This busy position does not require prior travel coordination experience but some experience with travel would be great so that you could appreciate necessary rules and regulations of security, windows of time needed for layovers, and knowledge of the geography of the United States airports and major cities.
As coordinator for a travel heavy sales team you will be tasked at coordinating their flights, car rentals, lodging, and airport transportation for weekly travel. This role will require attention to cost factors, researching various travel scenarios for best pricing and adhering to budgetary guidelines set forth by accounting. Reporting and preparing an organized travel agenda with each employee to ensure accuracy and an efficient travel experience.
The most successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, proven organizational skills, at least a personal understanding how to plan travel using various online conduits for trip planning such as Expedia, Priceline etc.
