As a principal member of the Design Team, the Senior Architectural Designer will lead commercial store design projects executing innovative architectural and interior design solutions. Provide a high level of creativity in all aspects of architectural exterior and interior design, including storefront/existing exteriors, siting of buildings, storefront/existing exteriors, building massing, space planning, millwork design, elevations/RCP/furniture layouts and FFE specification.
Manage the project development as well as client communication, programming, mood boards, conceptual design, schematic design as well as design intent documentation. Provide store test fits, ground-up build, tenant fit-outs, and major/minor remodels. In this role, the designer will work collaboratively with the internal design team, marketing, retail merchandising, construction and facilities, architects, engineers, contractors and vendors to successfully complete projects.
The ideal candidate possess commercial/store design experience with a track record of creating and executing innovative architectural and interior design solutions. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field/experience. Excellent skills in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, MS Office; Revit skills a plus.
