Manufacturing Production Supervisor

We are excited to announce that one of the area’s leading manufacturers has asked us to work with them to find a Production Lead for one of their new product lines. This role will offer a great move to one with 2+ years of manufacturing assembly, quality control and transaction leadership as well as gained respect with improvement design. This employer has a new and growing product line that is fairly recent to the company. With orders mounting they are keeping ahead of the curve but what they need now is an innovative and respected leader for the team that will bring motivation, develop team goals, offer mentorship and bring keen and lean manufacturing knowledge to this group of dedicated assemblers that want their team to excel beyond all expectations.
In this role you will oversee production employees and provide efficient process management. Report quality deficiencies and work with cross functional departments to resolve issues with production. Utilizing their ERP system ensure transaction accuracy and transfer of finished. Reporting to the Production Manager you with collaborate with cross function department leaders defining labor costs, process improvement and budgeting.

  • Lead and manage monthly and quarterly revenue accounting close activities, including all required analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, to support timely and accurate revenue recognition
  • Review and approve complex sales contracts with multiple element arrangements to support compliance internal company policies
  • Work closely with finance, purchasing and accounting department management to support monthly and quarterly management reporting and flux analyses for multiple revenue streams
  • Work with cross-functional groups to ensure agreements are structured in a way that accomplish sales and business objectives while maintaining compliance with revenue recognition requirements
  • Design, document, implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures and controls ensuring internal controls are designed and operating effectively
  • Present periodic revenue recognition trainings to finance and other cross-functional team members
  • Perform special projects and analyses on an ad-hoc basis, as required
  • Review and approve new sales contracts for recognition of value added potential for revenue and accuracy.  
  • Support internal audit processes and develop review procedures for efficiency. 
  • Monitor competitive trends and implement strategies to optimize revenue and increase market segment share.
  • Perform ASC 606 contract analysis and prepare management reporting. 
  • Collect and compile data for assistance with forecasting versus profitability. 
  • Work in conjunction with administration group as trainer and consulting for improving reporting efficiency.  
  • Provide complex information sharing through both written and oral communication as well as coordinating monthly meeting with decision makers.
